Each session will be held virtually via ZOOM and includes an expert speaker or presentation with break out sessions, followed by a one-on-one mentoring session. The typical agenda for each session is:
- 6:00 - 6:30 pm: Sign into ZOOM and Networking
- 6:30 - 6:40 pm: Welcome and Announcements
- 6:40 - 7:40 pm: Presentation
- 7:40 - 8:00 pm: Protégé and Mentor Spotlights
One-on-one mentoring sessions are scheduled individually between the mentor and protégé following the session.
Protégé Requirements
- Must already have five years experience as a professional in the workplace (not for new college graduates)
- Must complete an application and be accepted into the program as described below
- Protégés - After being accepted into the program, a program fee is required paid prior to the first session. Information about how to make the payment will be provided in your acceptance letter.
- The mentoring program fee is in addition to the annual WIT membership dues.
The WIT Adult Mentor-Protégé Program is a marquee program of WIT. Linking protégés with experienced professionals, the Mentor Protégé Program takes participants through a structured program that helps them expand their exposure to and knowledge of what it takes to meet their goals.
